Else Marie Pade [1924] is a pioneer of electronic music and musique concrete in Denmark.
In 2006 the State Library of Denmark decided to file the composer's entire body of works on its website. For this occasion Jacob Kirkegaard was invited to create a live remix of Symphonie Magnetophonique [1959] and to perform it live for Else Marie Pade and guests.
